The Nigerian Political sphere has been dominated by few “major” political parties with different political characters.
Politics in Nigeria is more dramatic than Nollywood. Citizens watch in bewilderment as politicians take swipe at each other during and after electioneering campaigns.
Since the return to civilian rule, Nigeria has had her fair share of good and bad leaders with many facing series of unending criticism.
Former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan remained unarguably Nigeria’s most insulted and criticised President in by Nigeria’s political elites and highly placed personalities ranging from religious leaders to celebrities.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo in a 18-page letter written to Jonathan as published by premium times alleged that President Goodluck Jonathan was keeping over 1000 people on his political watch list while also secretly training snipers and other armed personnel as well as acquiring weapons for political purposes. A now deleted publication by Tribune newspapers alleged that Atiku Abubakar on December 15, 2010 at a stakeholders’ forum , was reported to have issued a threat that was unbecoming of a man of his status in the society. “…Let me again send another message to the leadership of our great country, especially the political leadership that those who make peaceful change impossible make violent change inevitable…” he was quoted saying.

Jonathan is the most corrupt in the history of nigeria-DINO MELAYE.
Sen Dino Malaye during an interview with Premium Times alleged that Goodluck Jonathan is a promoter of corruption.
“Jonathan is the promoter of corruption. I am telling you that the Government of Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan is the most corrupt in Nigerian history but (who) we have as president-elect of this country today (Muhammadu Buhari); the man I see as the nemesis of corruption,” Melaye said.
One million match protest against insecurity-ADEBOYE.
The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye called for a million man match against the state of insecurity under the administration of Good Jonathan in 2010.
In the petition wrote to the then president, he expressed worry over the state of kidnapping and other vices. He also expressed his readiness to “pull” members of the church for a protest.
“As we mark our 50th anniversary as an independent nation, we are faced with the emergence of kidnapping as the latest Nigerian night mare and one of the most serious threats to our common well being, no one is safe.”

‘Jonathan govt stole so much money’ – Apostle Johnson Suleman
Apostle Suleman in a tweet on the 8th of Match 2019 wrote,
“Someone asked me why I’m against the present government and I screamed God forbid.
“I asked him why he didn’t say same when I was seriously speaking out against the activities of the previous government that stole so much money.
“I am not political; I speak truth to power,” Suleman tweeted.
Jonathan is a bad luck- FR MBAKA.
Catholic priest and spiritual director, Adoration Ministry Enugu, Ejike Mbaka on January 1, 2015 criticised Goodluck Jonathan’s government asking him to step down since he cannot lead Nigerians to their promise land.
He spoke while delivering a sermon tagged, “From Good luck to Bad luck,” during the end-of-year mass Wednesday night at the Adoration Ground, Emene, Enugu.

Monkey and baboon will soaked in blood if Jonathan Continues in 2015-Buhari.
Presidential candidate of the defunt Congress for Progressive Change, CPC, in the 2011 election, General Mohammadu Buhari allleged that Jonathan rigged the 2011 presidential election which CPC lost to the PDP.
He was quoted saying,
“If what happened in 2011 (alleged rigging) should again happen in 2015, by the grace of God, the dog and the baboon would all be soaked in blood.’’

Rotimi Amechi threatened that APC would form a parallel government if the 2015 Elections didn’t favour the APC.
This statement was condemned by the PDP as it was tagged treasonable.

During the fallout of amnesty talks between the Jonathan’s Govt and the subsequent declaration of state of Emergency in some northen states, the spokesman of Northern Elders Forum, Ango Abdullahi accused Jonathan of decaring war on the northern parts of the country.

Gov Nasir El Rufi wasn’t left out in the narcissist attacks on the former president.
During some heated media exchanges, El Rufi was was quoted saying, “Unfortunately, he has a lot of people to insult, because his boss has nothing to offer Nigerians, which is why he is using ethnic and religious sentiments to play politics. A thinking president would know that stoking ethnicity and religious affiliation is not only unpatriotic, but dangerous in a country like Nigeria, but as desperate as he is to remain in office, nothing seems too low for this president. The likes of Oby Ezekwesili, Hadiza Bala Usman, Maryam Uwais, Saudatu Mahdi, took it upon themselves to call for release of the abducted chibok girls.

Fashola in 2014 was quoted saying “A serious Government will fix the power problem in six months”.

Speaking on Channel TV, Kwankwaso expressed his delight on how the almajiris were used to kick out the former president.
He was quoted saying, “we hope that people around him should be people who are experienced, who should not be talking of Hausas who are thrown away as Almajiris. That is completely wrong, and it has gone a long way in galvanising people in the north to ensure that this Almajiri votes were used to kick them out of the villa.”
