Lagos discharges 12 more COVID-19 Patients


The Lagos State Government has announced the discharge of 12 COVID-19 patients in the state including a Ukrainian.

The disclosure was made by Jubril Gawat, Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor of Lagos State via his twitter handle handle. Among the 12 discharged patients, 9 are male while 3 are female .

Mr Gawat wrote on Twitter, ” FLASH: The Incident Commander of #Covid19Lagos and Governor of Lagos State, Mr @jidesanwoolu has announced the discharge of 12 more #Covid19 patients; 9 males and 3 females including a Ukrainian today…. making a total of 199 recoveries in Lagos State. #ForAGreaterLagos

The Cable reports that six of the patients were discharged from the Infectious Disease Hospital in Yaba, five from the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) and one from an isolation facility at Ibeju-Lekki.

Lagos Being the Epicenter of the pandemic has recorded 947 cases with 199 recoveries and 20 deaths
